Red Line Painting Exterior Painting Process:
Your In home consultation: Red Line Painting will come out to your home, take detailed measurements, and help determine the best products for your home.
A detailed written proposal: You will provided with a printed quote before your project begins. The will be no additional charges without your consent.
The first walk through: A walk through will be done to make sure that your project expectations are met. Your colors and color locations will be verified. We will then discuss what order you would like your project to start and end, where equipment will be stored, and any request/concerns you may have.
Preparation: The painted surfaces will be power washed if needed/indicated on contract a minimum of 1-5 days prior to the painters arrival. We do not use any chemicals to power wash your home. If mildew or other stains need to be removed it will be done so by hand with the appropriate products. Rough surfaces will be feather (hand) sanded to ensure proper bonding. All bare surfaces will be primed with an appropriate primer. All rusting surfaces will be primed with a rust inhibiting primer if indicated in the contract. All coatings are hand applied with a brush and roller.
Upon Completion: Once you have looked over your project and are completely satisfied, the painters will remove all trash and unwanted paint. All yard furniture will be returned to its original location.
A completion pack will be left with you that will include: Your contract for you to sign to confirm completion of your project, a job summary card, and an addressed envelope to mail payment.
