Lake View Citizens' Council

The LAKE VIEW CITIZENS' COUNCIL (LVCC) is a non-profit civic organization serving the Lakeview community on the north side of Chicago, Illinois. They have been working since 1952 to keep you informed of what is happening in your neighborhood.

Chicago Public Schools

This month we have chosen a project that a local CPS teacher is trying to implement in their classroom.

Our donation goes directly towards funding a specific project for that classroom; in this case, we are helping to provide students with new desks. If you are interested in making further donations to specific classrooms or to make a general donation. Click here for more details.

American Heart Association

They do a heart walk each year. This year as one of our donations Red Line Painting donated to one of the local volunteers.

The American Heart Association provides awards to recognize individuals who have taken positive steps to improve their quality of life and health. No change is too small and every accomplishment is significant. Winners will be announced at the Chicago Start! Heart Walk.

Chicago Fit-Friendly Companies

Companies can receive tools such as our free Start! Walking Program and tips from the American Heart Association to create a healthier workplace environment. The American Heart Association is recognizing employers who champion the health of their employees and work to create a culture of physical activity in the workplace. This recognition rewards companies for their progressive leadership and highlight their concern for their staff.
